Maria Flanagan

Maria Flanagan is a Project Manager and Integration Support Worker with New Horizon Refugee and Asylum Seeker Support Group. She is a 

Board Member with the Liberties Community Project in Dublin 8. 

Locally, she leads the Sanctuary Runners Group and coordinates the Fáilte Isteach English Conversation Group in her hometown Moate. At a

national level, she is a member of Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation’s All-Island Women’s Peacebuilding Network. With experience in public health, community education, community integration, social justice, and peace building, Maria is passionate about inclusion, diversity, and empowering those whose voices are often left unheard.
