Bebhinn NicLiam

Bébhinn has been living in the Liberties for over 20 years. Her connection with the area goes back further when, as a young student, she attended art college here. After working in England for many years as a Graphic Designer she returned to Dublin in 2000. Bébhinn had lived with undiagnosed endometriosis, a very painful condition and one of the many invisible disabilities, becoming an advocate for endometriosis awareness and education. She also got involved in the local community through the Robert Emmet CDP (now the Liberties Community Project) back in 2007 and has been volunteering ever since!

Bébhinn still has an interest in art, loves drawing and sketching, and making etchings. She also tends a mini garden of potted plants outside her front door, on the top balcony of the flats
