Welcome to The Liberties Community Project

The Liberties Community Project is an amalgamation of SICCDA and Robert Emmet CDP- two South West Inner City Dublin community development organisations established in 1982 and 2003 respectively. A decision by both boards to engage in a voluntary merger process was implemented in July 2024 following a three year conversation and a lengthy consultation process with community, partner organisations and funders.

The Liberties Community Project delivers a range of programmes dedicated to employment, education, social enterprise, integration, housing and community development as well as supporting community to engage in research and advocacy work. Our mission is to deliver a variety of programmes that service local need as well as to provide community members with opportunities to input into decisions that affect them in order to build a strong community where everyone is heard and no-one is left behind.
